About Julija Moon Art
My name is Julija Fokina, born in 1991 in Lithuania. I’m a mom and a self-taught artist, and my creative journey has been a lifelong exploration of symbolism, nature, and the human psyche. Through my work, I dive deep into themes that are both mystical and whimsical, exploring the subtle interplay between light and shadow, birth and decay.
I work primarily with acrylics, watercolors, and other media, and I find inspiration in the world of dreams, folklore, and archetypes. Art, for me, is a way of connecting the conscious with the subconscious, and through each piece, I invite you to witness the transformative stories of the creatures and symbols I paint.
My work is often filled with symbols from astrology, mythology, and nature. I see these symbols not as rigid beliefs but as codes that add depth and meaning to the work, offering a window into the mysteries of life, change, and duality. I create to express what I feel, and I hope that, in return, my art evokes something unique for each person who experiences it.
Thank you for visiting my space, and for supporting my journey. If you’re interested in custom work or have any questions, feel free to contact me—I’d love to hear from you!
